Who is Miguel Angel Marcano?


Venezuelan, Commercial Administrator, graduate from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Venezuela and Stockbroker, with a Master on Business Management in Miami University and various certifications on Finances, Risk and Corporate Government, among others.

Miguel Angel Marcano has been on charge of many areas of the Organization (Capital Market, Cards and Means of Payment, Risk Management Department, National and International Treasury Finances) up to his appointment as Executive President of Banesco Banco Universal in 2013, as well as head of the Corporate Finances Management as from 2015.

As from December 2013 to April 2017, Marcano was Executive President of Banesco Banco Universal.

 Currently, Miguel Angel Marcano acts as:

  • President of the Executive Board of Banesco Panama and Banesco Banco Multiple Dominican Republic.
  • President of the Executive Board of Banesco Seguros Panama and Banesco Seguros Dominican Republic.
  • VicePresident of the Executive Board of Banesco USA.
  • Member of the Exmiecutive Board of Banesco Banco Universal (Venezuela).

Banesco Banco Multiple’s Assets grew by 11,15% in 2018

Banesco Banco Multiple  shared the results of its business operations in the country in 2018, showing a total growth of its assets of about 11,15%, which represents RD $21.395 millions, RD $2.146 million more than 2017. The presentation took place during the integration and line-up activity of the bank personnel. Collaborators of every area participated. The concept of the event was “We are Banesco” and included group dynamics. “The favorable results of the bank add up to global figures of Banesco International Corporation, which are now over US $65.400 million in assets; in addition, net assets with a value of over US $5.791 million. Forum Panama 500: The First City of the Pacific
